Zoom Tips

• Logging in to Zoom:

  • You should be able to click on the link sent by the EPA Alumni Association to start Zoom. 

  • Another approach is to copy the address (URL) and put it in your browser and hit return.  Or

  • Go to  Zoom.us and click on ‘Join a Meeting’ and enter the meeting number and then the passcode if one is required.

• Refreshing Your Skills:

  • Learn/refresh your memory about the important controls you will want to use (unmute yourself, control your camera, view list of participants, chat with others, etc.).

• Testing Before the Meeting Begins:

  • Do a quick test meeting to make sure your microphone, speaker, and camera (if you plan to use it) are working well and that you fully understand how to use your controls. Go to: http://zoom.us/test
